- Several products we recommend regularly have no affiliate program at all.
- Where a cheaper option does the job, we say so, even though a cheaper sale earns us less.
- Nobody pays to appear on this site, and no brand has any say over what we publish about it or sees a review before it goes live.
- Our scoring criteria contain no measure of commission, price bracket or partner status.
Why we mention it
The US Federal Trade Commission requires that material connections between a publisher and a seller are disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation, not hidden in a footer. That’s why the disclosure appears inside every product box rather than only here.
We’d tell you anyway. If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, searching for the product name directly gets you to the same place and costs us nothing but the commission.
